In 2011-2012, the Innsbrook Rotary Club, under the leadership of President Kay King made application for the International Rotary International President Kalyan Banerjee's Presidential Citation Award. Clubs had to meet criteria in all areas: membership retention and growth, recruiting more women in Rotary and increasing participation in the Rotary Foundation. Awards were given to Clubs in each membership category, which Innsbrook represented the 100+ membership category. The top 15 clubs and districts were eligible for on stage recognition at the International Conference in Bangkok Thailand, and Kay King accepted this certificate on behalf of the club.

In addition, Jim Bynum, District 7600 Governor presented President Kay with a Certificate of Unparalleled Achievement recognizing "Rotary Club of Innsbrook as the Number One Club among Rotary Clubs Worldwide 2011-2012."

This award represents excellent leadership for many years leading up to this recognition. Charles Moncure's focus on Foundation Giving was significant and several past Presidents and key members all helped grow our club in numbers, giving and service.
